     Shri Narendra Modi, Hon. Prime Minister of India hosted the India Africa Forum Summit – III 2015 in New Delhi from 26-29 October 2015 and had a  Bilateral meeting with H.E. Dr. Hage G. Geingob, President of the Republic of Namibia, during the India-Africa Forum Summit in New Delhi  on October 29, 2015

     Alongwith the Namibian President and First Lady, Hon. John Mutorwa (Minister of Agriculture, Water & Forestry), Hon.  Calle Shlettwein (Minister of Finance), Hon. Tom Alweendo (Minister & Director General of National Planning Commission),Hon. Obeth Kandjoze (Minister of Mines & Energy), Hon. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah (Deputy PM & Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of Namibia), Hon. Bernard Esau, Acting Minister of Industrialization, Trade & SME Development also took part in the Summit. The High Commissioner of India to Namibia H.E Mr. Kumar Tuhin also visited New Delhi for the Summit from 26-31 October 2015.

Mr. Kumar Tuhin met with  Mr. Simson Haulofu, Acting Managing Director, NamPower; Mr. Ravi Teckchandani, Senior Deputy General Manager, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) and Mr. Sauraba Verma, Senior Engineer, BHEL for fruitful meeting in New Delhi on the sidelines of the India Africa Forum Summit in New Delhi.

    The High Commissioner of India to Namibia H.E Mr. Kumar Tuhin inaugurated the Dance Extravaganza comprising of Bhangra, Giddha, Lavani and Contemporary Indian Dance forms presented by ICCR Dance Troupe 'Red Coral' on 12-13 October 2015 in Windhoek.The event was very well received by the Namibian audience as well as the Indian Community in Namibia. 

  • BHANGRA"Red Coral" Dance group led by Ms. Preeti with High Comissioner Shri Kumar Tuhin. Red Coral presented an energetic and vibrant dance at Zoo Park Amphitheatre, Windhoek on 13 Oct 2015. The performance was organised by High Commission of India in coordination with Indian Council for Cultural Relations, New Delhi and Namibian Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture. It was enjoyed by more than 700 persons.The event was organized at Zoo Park Amphitheatre, one of Windhoek's popular cultural landmarks where cultural events and traditional African dance form events are regularly organized. 


  • SAM 4672 High Commissioner Shri Kumar Tuhin addressing the Indian Diaspora in Windhoek on the occasion of 69th Indpendence Day on 15th August 2015 afte the flag hoisting. The Indian Diaspora in Namibia attended the Flag hoisting and formal Reception in huge numbers on this occasion.
